A set of 9 buzzers, the staple diet of the trout. Named the buzzer because of the noise they make when in swarms. The buzzer is designed to imitate the chironomid pupae stage, these are widespread across UK waters and so are a very important food source for the fish, a bit like our “bread and butter”.
These flies can be fished in a variety of methods, singly under a bung or as a team in the washing line method with a buoyant fly on the point, both with floating and sinking lines. This is another firm favourite pattern in the fly anglers box.
